Part of the purpose for this second Stack is to report on new developments in the world of Science Fiction/Fantasy. Especially regarding independent publishing and small presses.
I know this isn’t “Sci-Friday” or whatever people call it, but we’re at the mid-point of the week, and sometimes you just need something to get you over the hump. So, here’s a few pieces from the last couple of weeks to keep you updated!
Anniversary Sale!
I am a huge fan of Yuval Kordov “Old Testament Gothic” Dark Legacies universe, and right now, he has the entire trilogy - as well as the sidequel Sisters of Mercy - on sale! This is an excellent time to jump on board this darkly metaphysical mech series.
Writer’s Summit!
Nicholas Kotar and St. Basil Writers' Workshop are offering a virtual writer’s summit focused on the theme of “Spiritual Renewal and the Creative Life.” A powerhouse roster of creatives have been announced including Peco, Katherine Bolger Hyde, Vesper Stamper , Timothy G. Finally, a bit of an older piece, but one I can’t stop thinking about. In December of last year, Incensepunk Magazine finished off the calendar year with a beautiful story from Laura Pavlik regarding a daughter and her mother who find Eternal Life on the red soil of Mars. Give it a read, will you?
